Create clear, consistent public materials that help neighbors understand the Verona Bike Loop and know how to participate. Keep the website, email updates, social media, photos, newsletters, flyers, and promotional materials current and easy to share.

Community Ride Planning

3-4 people needed

Ride schedules and events.

Organize welcoming weekly rides and special events that let residents experience Verona by bike together. Plan routes, schedules, meeting points, ride leaders, and outreach so people of all ages feel invited to join.

Bike Bus Working Group

3-4 people needed

Safe routes to schools and parent engagement.

Explore parent-led bike buses and Safe Routes to School ideas that make family biking more practical and visible. Learn from programs such as Montclair Bike Bus while engaging Verona parents, schools, and caregivers around safer school travel.

Partnership Liaisons

3-4 people needed

Coordinate with organizations and neighboring towns.

Build relationships with local and regional organizations that share the goal of safer, more connected streets. Coordinate with groups such as Bike & Walk Montclair, Sustainable Verona, the Verona Environmental Commission, Green Team, Grove Street Greenway, neighboring communities, and advocacy organizations.

Advocacy Team

3-4 people needed

Town meetings and policy proposals.

Turn community priorities into constructive proposals that can be shared with public bodies and local officials. Coordinate public testimony, support presentations before the Traffic & Safety Committee and Township Council, and build consensus around achievable improvements.

Infrastructure Committee

5-10 people needed

Routes, crossings, wayfinding, bike parking, and implementation priorities.

Study the loop route, neighborhood connections, crossings, bike parking, wayfinding, and infrastructure priorities in practical detail. Help translate resident feedback into clear maps, phased recommendations, and specific improvements that can support advocacy and grant conversations.
